Following the instructions to get the correct size will help you get a healthier body measurement. Take note of the measurements you took. You can easily choose your size from the size chart of the compression socks brand regarding these measurements. The pressure in compression stockings usually dissipates gradually. The pressure in the ankle and calf area decreases as you move up. Therefore, no matter what type of socks you choose, the ankle circumference and calf circumference are the most important areas that need to be measured correctly. Your reference point is the ankle. However, tall users can also take foot length measurements. As you know, the most appropriate time to wear socks is as soon as you get out of bed. Therefore, you should take the measurement as soon as you get out of bed.
This is because the moment you get out of bed, there is almost no swelling in the legs and feet. There may be a difference of 1 or even 2 sizes in measurements taken during the day.
Below Knee Compression Stockings (Closed/Open Toe)
If you are going to choose your compression socks below the knee, you can follow the instructions below.
1- Measure the circumference of your ankle. You can take the measurement just above where the foot bone is located. Ankle circumference is the first measurement to be taken. Size is indicated with the letter "B" or "cB" in measurement tables. cB stands for ankle circumference. "B" is the ankle.
2-Take the measurement of the calf circumference (lower calf) from the widest area. Calf size is indicated by the letter "C" or "cC".
3- It is useful to sit down to measure the length of your calf. Sitting at a full 90-degree angle, measure your leg from the knee to the knee. Measure the distance from the floor to the end of your calf, that is, just below your knee, and note it.

3- Measurements are not taken.
4- Find the widest area in the thigh area and measure the circumference. The thigh area is denoted by "G" or "cG".
5- To measure your leg length, it will be sufficient to measure the area from the floor to the gluteal fold (as seen in the photo). Leg length measurement is indicated by “IG”.
General Reminder
Take your body measurement as soon as you get out of bed.
Pay attention to your sitting position while taking measurements.
A tape measure should be used when taking the measurement and should not be held too loosely or tightly. Care should be taken not to fold or bend it. Some measuring tapes have one side ("") inches and the other side (cm) centimeters. (1" = 2.54cm)
When measuring foot length, the foot should be flat on the ground and stand upright.
Size zones and abbreviations
The most important point when choosing compression socks is to take the correct size. In measurement tables, international standards are shown differently in the measurement tables of some companies. For this reason, confusion sometimes occurs. To eliminate this confusion, you can examine the measurement areas in detail below.
