Varimed® Anti-Embolism Stockings

Varimed® Anti-Embolism Stockings are designed to provide the highest comfort and benefit to the patient, meeting the "TS ENV 12719 Medical Thrombosis Prophylaxis Stockings" standard. Available in knee-high, thigh-high, and waist belt types, these stockings cover a wide range of measurements. Each size is color-coded at the heel for easy differentiation. The stockings feature an inspection hole under the toes to monitor circulation. The thigh-high type includes a drop-silicone elastic band that prevents slipping without disrupting the pressure profile. The waist belt type features a transparent inner seam elastic with excellent flexibility and softness, and an adjustable elastic waist belt for added comfort. All materials used in production are Öko-Tex 100 certified, minimizing allergic reactions during wear. The pressure in Varimed® Anti-Embolism Stockings is maximal at the ankle and gradually decreases up towards the thigh.

Wearing anti-embolism stockings is one method to reduce DVT risk. These stockings apply consistent pressure to the legs, increasing blood flow and reducing clot formation. The pressure is highest at the ankle and decreases towards the thigh, enhancing blood fluidity in the deep vein system.
